Finally!!
Finally after just over a year of complaining and switching doctors the new doctor Peyton has in Utah took one look at her and says "She needs some help." He set her up on a waiting list to have an Autism test and referred her to an early developmental institution here in Utah. She had her evaluation there and they put her speech and cognitive abilities at only 12-15 months so they say she is doing as well as her 14 month old brother. The physical therapist gave her a highest score of 30 months on fine motor but even that is slighty behind as she is 32 months of age. So she starts speech therapy and a playgroup thing with other children to help her better learn how to be more social.
Her therapists have very high thoughts that she shall be able to make a turn around and be ready for school and not be behind her peers. I hope that is the case as I would hate to have to keep her at home from school to prevent teasing and her falling through the educational crack that is the no child left behind program.
I also can not wait for her to get her Autism test they not quite sure she will fall into the spectrum she shows a lot of tendiences that other children with Autism have but the two biggest things are no present in her she can show affection and can be quite interactive once you get her engaged in play. But, the Autism test will be able to score whether it is some other type of learning disability and then work on fixing it.
